MOTRA is a collaborative civil security research project in which many partner organizations from science and practice are involved. MOTRA pursues two objectives. On the one hand, events and dynamics of radicalization in Germany will be continuously monitored using a broad research approach. The aim is to identify developments more quickly in the future that indicate, whether radical protest threatens to turn into violence, extremism or even terrorism. On the other hand, MOTRA is to be expanded as a central information hub for enabling and facilitating extensive knowledge transfer. The aim is to exchange the knowledge created in research and practice more directly between the fields of science, practice and politics.
